The WDR camera specification uses the unit dB. What is WDR and what does dB mean?
WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) function is a function featured in high-performance cameras where it allows images from bright areas and dark areas to be clear simultaneously.
It is recommended to install WDR featuring cameras in areas where exterior light shines in and create backlight such as entrances and windows of buildings.
Without this function, images from bright areas become too bright, and images from dark areas become too dark.

It is the indication of how well the device can differentiate video images featuring both bright and dark areas.
The ratio of dark areas compared to bright areas is displayed in dB, and the larger values are regarded as better WDR capabilities.
