Wisenet AI
AI End-to-End Security Solutions
As AI becomes more broadly adopted across industries, it is likely to be more widely incorporated in video surveillance in the upcoming year. Edge-based AI (which filters and processes data locally on a camera) will be more ubiquitous, enabling end-to-end AI technology. Today, most security cameras send the data they collect to servers to be analyzed. However, with edge-based AI, the data is analyzed by the camera first, and subsequently sent to the server. This reduces the burden of transferring and storing large amounts of data to a server, thereby increasing efficiency, saving time, and reducing server costs typically required to analyze data.
Increase event monitoring accuracy by reducing false alarm
As the number of surveillance cameras grows along with the cities, an operator may be presented with too much information to handle, as conventional cameras equipped with motion-based detection generate too many event alarms. With operators under great strain to verify each one, there could be delays in response times. Now, AI algorithms built into P series AI cameras are able to dramatically help improve operator efficiency.
Classify Target Objects with attributes
P series AI cameras differentiates what it sees into broad categories such as ‘Person’, ‘Face’, ‘Vehicle’ and ‘license plate’. Delving deeper, AI algorithms are quickly and accurately able to identify the different attributes of the objects within the camera’s field of view. For example, the camera sees a person and immediately detects the color of clothing. It is also intelligent enough to distinguish whether the person is wearing glasses or holding a bag. These attributes are then saved as metadata alongside the captured footage.
WiseDetector to specifically detect user-interested objects
WiseDetector detects user-interested objects with P AI cameras. Once the training is done and the data is sent to the cameras, WiseDetector will function as one of the regular detection on the WiseAI application.
Disease prevention solutions by using AI technology
P series AI cameras can prevent the spread of disease through multiple AI functions. Wisenet occupancy monitoring application enables P series AI cameras with people counting function which prevents people to be over-crowded. In addition, the attribute classification function enables face mask detection through P series AI cameras in order to send alerts. Finally, P series AI cameras detects each individual and therefore sends out alerts if the proximity gets higher than pre-set distance.
BestShots for minimizing storage and bandwidth requirements
P series AI cameras are equipped with a BestShot feature which ensures that only the most suitable images of classified objects are sent to the storage server. Each image can be up to cropped 4K quality, along with tagged attributes metadata. Users have the option to set the image resolution at 2MP for full video streaming or use the BestShot feature to minimize bandwidth and storage requirements.
AI search when used with non-AI cameras
P series AI NVRs support AI search even when users have only non-AI cameras installed at sites. Users can search various objects such as people, vehicles, faces and license plates by using non AI cameras with P series AI NVRs. Up to 32CH cameras are supported for AI search feature. (In case of 64CH NVRs)
**non-AI cameras should be P/X series cameras.
AI NVR supports LPR (License Plate Recognition) search
P series AI NVRs support LPR search when working with non AI cameras or AI cameras together. Users can easily and instantly search License Plates using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology which are recorded with digital data based on letters and numbers.
Wisenet SSM, the best partner for AI smart search
P series AI cameras are fully supported by Wisenet SSM Video Management Software (VMS), enabling operators to quickly forensically search for specific events or for objects with defined attributes, by filtering the recorded metadata.
