The new Wisenet 9 SoC applied Dual NPU concept to ensure the video quality and analytics have independent resources, preventing one function from impacting the performance of the other. So, you won’t see degradation on the noise reduction performance because there are too many analytics of objects.

The newly integrated AI-based Noise Reduction (NR) processing works in conjunction with conventional NR to effectively eliminate noise generated by sensor sensitivity and challenging low-light environments. This is achieved using a dedicated denoising network, independent of other NPU resources. This processing yields denoised images with preserved detail and reduced motion artifacts. Leveraging these enhanced images, the Image Signal Processor (ISP) can then apply sophisticated image enhancement technologies, optimizing detail, texture, color, and tone mapping for a finely tuned video output.
