Launches 128CH, 72CH NVR
Global security company Hanwha Techwin will release 2 types of high capacity server-based NVRs. Up to 4K UHD videos can be stored and monitored in real time on 128 channels (PRP-5000H16) and 72 channels (PRP-4000H8).
The high capacity server-based NVR is equipped with SSM 2.1 (Smart Security Manager), an integrated management software developed by Hanwha Techwin. This not only enables users to effectively operate video information, but also allows them to perform various intelligent video analyses and event searches.
In addition, it is capable of simultaneous recordings at various resolutions depending on the user environment. It supports 8 (72 channels) and 16 (128 channels) slots so that the storage capacity can be upgraded. It is also easy to replace the hard disk drive, since an old HDD can be removed and a new hard drive can be mounted without turning off the PC.
The 128-channel NVR has 2 power sources for supplying stable power to the system. This enables seamless video transmission and prevents emergency situations such as system breakdown or boot failures. Stored images can be safely protected by applying the RAID function, which can create high capacity storage by bundling several low capacity storage devices.
When used in conjunction with Hanhwa Techwin Wisenet X series products, it can detect abnormal sound sources such as screaming. An event alarm can then be sent when an abnormal sound source is detected.
A Hanwha Techwin official stated that “With this new high capacity, server-based NVR, factories and large apartment complexes that deal with mass amounts of data will be able to manage their data much more efficiently.”
