A leading global security company, Hanwha Techwin, has launched a new IR PTZ camera, which is available in 2MP and provides up to 55X zoom.
The optical zoom lens in XNP-6550RH can zoom in up to 55X (4.75-261.4mm) and is able to recognize a face as far as 170m. The IR function provides the required visibility for nighttime, enabling the users to clearly identify objects or persons.
Hanwha Techwin’s own SoC, Wisenet5 chipset, is what enables clear images, and the gyroscopic sensor enhances image correction by providing necessary stability against harsh conditions such as strong wind or vibration, eliminating any image latency or flickering. Other superb features include hand-over and auto-tracking, which are useful for monitoring a specific location in wide areas by closely watching moving objects without blind spots.
Also, defog feature automatically corrects blurry images and the alarm function immediately notifies the users when fog or sea fog is detected. It can also be linked with other devices such as LED lights, strengthening its usability as a part of safe urban environment.
The new XNP-6550RH can also effectively compress and transfer large image files using H.265 and WiseStream II, Hanwha Techwin’s own image compression technology. It is designed to diminish vibration and is also IP 66 and IK 10-rated, proving that it provides versatile usage in varying environments.
“By launching the new 55X PTZ camera, which can identify objects that human eyes cannot clearly detect, Hanwha Techwin will once again demonstrate its outstanding performance in monitoring wide urban areas,” said a source from Hanwha Techwin.
