«We worked closely in partnership to ensure that the most suitable combination of cameras was specified for all the required locations throughout Atasay Jewellery HQ and branches.»
— Handan Anar, Deputy General Manager, NFS Teknoloji
♦ Challenge
Atasay Jewellery has been a leader of the Turkish jewellery manufacturing sector for three generations. Founded in 1937, it has 126 stores in 41 cities, including all major shopping malls, high streets and airports, making it the biggest jewellery chain in Turkey. A leading jewellery manufacturer in Turkey has awarded a contract to Hanwha Vision Europe to provide high definition Hanwha Wisenet video surveillance cameras to help protect customers, staff and merchandise at its outlets located throughout the country.
♦ Solution
A total of 250 Hanwha Wisenet cameras will be installed in a phased programme which will be completed during the course of 2017. These include 200 x Wisenet Lite 2MP SND-L6083RP domes equipped with IR illuminators. Other camera models being deployed include the Wisenet 2MP SNO-L6083RP bullet cameras and the Wisenet SNF-7010F 3MP 360-degree (1080P) camera.
Depending on the cameras installed at each location, the captured images will be recorded on either a 16 channel Wisenet Lite SRN-1673SP NVR or award winning SRN-4000 NVRs.
♦ Result
The installation of the cameras is being carried out in phases by Nemesis Elektronik, one of Turkey’s largest systems integrators, who sourced them from NFS Teknoloji, Hanwha Vision’s distribution partner in Turkey.
«The cameras are replacing old analogue models which have come to the end of their useful life,» said Mrs Handan Anar, Deputy General Manager for NFS Teknoloji. «In addition to being able to capture high definition images, the client also wanted to benefit from the advantages offered by the latest IP network video surveillance technology, including the ability of senior management, security personnel and area managers to remotely access live images or recorded video from the company’s HQ or via smartphones whilst they are on the road.»
The contract awarded to Hanwha Vision Europe, which was won against stiff competition from a number of other well known security brands, also includes for the provision of cameras to monitor activity at the company’s headquarters in Istanbul.
Partnership with Nemesis Elektronik
«We have supplied video surveillance solutions from Hanwha Vision (formerly Samsung Techwin), for many other projects and we are therefore very pleased Atasay Jewellery accepted the recommendation to single source all the cameras and recording devices from them,» said Mrs Handan Anar.
«We worked closely in partnership with Nemesis Elektronik and Hanwha Vision’s locally based pre sales team to ensure that the most suitable combination of cameras was specified for all the required locations throughout Atasay Jewellery HQ and branches.»
